Poseybelle Stoeffler is a graduating senior pursuing a BA in Theatre at Northwestern University. With an additional minor in Art Theory and Practice, Poseybelle is crafty, cunning, and sly. Growing up in the Iowa City irish dance and bluegrass music scenes, she specializes in the art of surprising talents and brings a diverse array of experience to performance, production, and design.
At Northwestern University, she has spent her time saying yes to as many things as possible, especially new ones. Driven by curiosity, she’s particularly interested in the strange, vulnerable, and off-center. Some of her favorite credits include “John Proctor is the Villain” (Shelby) and “Beowulf: A Thousand Years of Baggage” (Academic 3/Dragon).
She has also worked behind the scenes as a Producer and Costume Designer on a number of projects, in addition to stitching and wardrobe-ing at the Wirtz Center costume shop since 2022. She most recently brought her skills to the international festival stages as a production intern with Baby Wants Candy’s 2025 run at the Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Poseybelle loves movies, the word “awesome”, and she can tie her shoes really fast. Ask her about it, and other things at poseybellestoeffler@gmail.com. She can also be contacted here, and verbally, maybe, depending on where you are and how loud you yell.
